Rules to play EQUATE-LE

• Only valid mathematical equations are allowed as a guess.

• You can use digits 0 to 9 and operators +, -, *, /, =, < and > to write an equation in each row.

• Every equation must contain one '=' or '<' or '>'.

• Standard order of operations as per BODMAS or PEDMAS applies.

• Commutative answers are not treated as same in the current version of the game. For example, 24+12=36 and 12+24=36 are considered two different equations.

• Negative numbers are supported in the guess as long as the guess is a valid mathematical equation. For example, -24+12=12 or -12-6=-18 or -6-6*-1=0 is considered a valid guess.

• Leading zeros are supported in the guess as long as the guess is a valid mathematical equation. For example, 030+010=040 is considered a valid guess.

• There are 4 different levels - Novice, Learning, Experienced and Nerd.

• The higher the level, the more number of digits and operators will be in play and the harder it can become to guess.

• You can change the level by clicking on '+/-' icon located at the top-right of the screen.

• In addition to the levels, there is a game mode which can be set to either 'Easy' or 'Difficult' in Settings.

• In 'Difficult' mode, you must use any revealed operators or digits in subsequent guesses.

• In 'Easy' mode, there is no such restriction.

• You can quit the current game at any time by clicking on the Flag icon located at the top-right of the screen.
